When you get you passport back look for this sticker and stamp on one of the pages.
Notice the Visa Type is Visitor. The duration of stay is sixty days (sometimes you may get issued a ninety day one). It is a S for Single Entry visa (you can apply for a multiple entry, but as you will be changing this one to a resident visa that would just be a waste of money). Notice it does not have a big "NON EXTENDABLE" stamp on it. That is because this is issued from your country of origin.
