The Off Season ( September - April)

Students go back to school here in September, just like they do in North America. For English teachers that means the after-school programs in private schools settle into a dependable schedule. From September until May most private English schools are not opening many new classes because most kids have already settled on one school or another. There is still a demand for teachers at this time however, as teachers are ending their contracts throughout the year.

Our Program During this Low-Demand Season (September - April):

	During this time we do not always offer multiple interviews when you arrive.
	When you get here we will greet you at the Kaohsiung International airport.
	You will stay in our guest bedroom, or the Teacher's Temporary Apartment.
	You will be taken to your new school to begin observing classes.
	We will help you arrange your transportation (ie. help you purchase a scooter or motorcycle), and find you your new apartment.
	We will take you to your medical check, necessary for your work visa.
	You will have on-going support with tax and visa information throughout your stay in Taiwan.

Taiwan Teachers services are free to each teacher. We receive a one-time commission from the school you choose, usually about one month after you have begun working there (and everyone involved knows if it is a good fit.) Our teachers receive very competitive incomes. We do not get a 'cut' of the money that you make here.
